Forest Waste and Residue Professional

Silvatech is accepting resumes for the position of **Sr.** **Forester or Forest Technologist **to help oversee the management of forest waste and residue assessments in BC. This is a senior level position that requires an experienced RPF or Registered Forest Technologist to supervise waste & residue assessments and associated report submissions in the BC interior. We are a family friendly company. The position will be full-time based at Salmon Arm, BC. We offer competitive remuneration and benefits commensurate with experience and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- RPF or Registered Forest Technologist
- Experience with current BC Waste and Residue system
- Timber / Cutting Permit development experience
- Efficient and safety conscious with field operations
- Good written and interpersonal communication skills in English
- Good people / team player / management skills
- A mature, responsible, flexible attitude
- Good computer / GIS skills
- Valid BC drivers license
- Level 1 First Aid, S100, ATV safety and Bear Aware training

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Waste & Residue Surveys oversight, and submissions
- Coordination of a large waste and residue program
- Subordinate staff Q/A, training and supervision
- Business Development & Client liaison
- Associated plans, reports and submissions
