**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Position Title: Marketing Coordinator**
**Industrial & Commercial Valves, Fittings & Actuation**
**Location: Surrey, British Columbia**
**Reporting To: Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing**

**Position Summary**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
**-**Manage all day to day marketing requirements of the company.
**-**Develop marketing strategies for the company, in line with the companies objectives.
**-**Co-ordinate marketing campaigns and interact with sales activities for the success of the campaign.
**-**Create, publish and monitor all marketing material in line with the company marketing objectives.
**-**Oversee and report on the company’s web-site, social media platform, literature (on-line and hard print), promotions, trade shows, marketing tools and events.
**-**Create and prepare all company presentation materials for internal and external use.
**-**Ensure all company trade shows and events are well established and represented to the industry, providing the highest ROI.
**-**Work closely within the company and with its lead vendors to ensure the MAS brand and those brands of our vendors are considered the premier suppliers to the industry.
**-**Responsibility for the gathering and co-ordination of all marketing and technical documents.
**-**Co-ordinate all company promotional material.

**Required Skill Set**:
**-**A relevant BACHELOR degree in Marketing.
**-**Relevant work experience
**-**Self-motivated and results oriented approach to business.
- Strong creative outlook along with a dynamic personality.
**-**Professional accomplishments that reflect strong business development achievements as well as meeting fixed deadlines.
**-**Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
**-**Strong analytical, project management and communication skills both written and verbal.
**-**Excellent team player, customer service oriented and works well under pressure.
**-**Ability to work unpredictable hours, including some evenings and weekends.
**-**Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe, Photoshop (digital media) and Outlook.

**Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities**
**Enhance the company brand and image related to;**
**Literature**:

- MAS branded brochures and documents (print & digital/electronic)
- Line Cards
- Supplier Literature (print & digital/electronic)
- Interact with printers and suppliers, monitor inventory levels and update and order as required
- Maintain branch literature stock levels
- Regularly survey locations on literature needs and future requirements
- Create and maintain customer distribution lists for literature, pricing, mailing lists, surveys, etc

**Trade Shows**:

- Booth / Graphics requirements
- Registration & Planning (booking trade shows, ordering required supplies, hotels, etc)
- Coordination of marketing supplies (literature, give away, show samples, raffles, etc)
- Show staffing needs based on size and expected attendance
- Organize customer specific event meetings/interaction as required
- Track overall trade show costs for management review

**Social Media Sites**:

- LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google
- Creating monthly posts regarding MAS and supplier activities
- Monitor activity and review comments/questions posted

**MAS Web-Site**:

- Insuring updated and correct content via supplier monitoring and tracking
- Monthly NEWS updates
- Follow competitor’s sites for data and intel
- Coordinate with IT to track access and web-site usage
- Direct web-site & social media inquiries to correct personnel and monitor feedback
- Goggle search position, Goggle map, etc

**MAS Brand/Image**:

- MAS newsletter
- Promotional materials and give aways
- Organize customer & supplier events (golf prizes, open houses, CO-OP events)
- Customer surveys and satisfaction tracking
- Source and create videos to enhance the company image, internal and external training opportunities and to create an industry awareness of the MAS value add
- Maintain logos and company images, updates as requested by management
- Work closely with product development to create platforms for new product launches

**MAS Sales Meetings & Presentation**:

- Organize meeting spaces and locations
- Prepare schedules to meet management requirements
- Prepare presentations and meeting interaction material
- Planning meal and breaks
- Act as secretary of the meetings where required (create action lists and monitor progress)
- Coordinate as requested by senior management on development and implantation of customer events/trips

**Customer/Supplier Interaction**:

- Interact with the customers marketing departments ensuring smooth interaction of CO-OP marketing and media programs such as CONNECTS

**Data and Reports**:

- As required, gather internal sales data for management analyzation
- At the direction of management, prepare and gather incoming data from market studies
