**The Role**:
We are currently searching for a **Retail Store Manager **reporting to the **District Manager.** This is a **Full-time, permanent **opportunity. As a Retail Store Manager, you will create a positive, customer service focused experience. You will play an important role in ensuring that a new shopping experience is promoted to our customers, as well as manage continuous optimization of overall store performance.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Demonstrate strong leadership, be energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to motivate a team
- Recruit, train, coach and develop employees to achieve their full potential
- Enforce our social responsibility initiatives - WE ID and Arrive Alive
- Effectively manage a budget according to organizational objectives
- Schedule staff according to operational needs and the Collective Agreement
- Ensure safety and compliance of staff in accordance with Health and Safety legislation is met to the highest degree
- Oversee the Ontario Deposit Return Program (ODRP) and approved recyclables
- Ensure all signage and displays are executed to operational plans and guidelines
- Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands
- Encourage participation in community initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:
**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of the Beer Store’s High Potential Program (HPP) strongly preferred

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of operations experience in a Retail environment; experience with TBS/BDL is preferred

**Skills**:

- Proven leadership ability to effectively manage the team of direct reports
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to make sound decisions in a timely fashion
- You are expected to follow and enforce with staff all company and legislated health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
- The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role
