Order Entry Clerk

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as Order Entry Clerk, preferably with experience in the food distribution industry. The order entry clerk is part of the sales department and is responsible for processing all incoming orders by entering them into the Sage 300 ERP system. Salary starting at 17.50$ but quickly increases with experience.

**Other Responsibilities Include**:

- Receive and enter all incoming daily orders for customers by EDI Order System.
- Act as a primary contact for all house account customers.
- Notify purchasing department of any backorders.
- Notify accounts receivable department of any orders from customers on credit hold.
- To maintain a pleasant relationship with customers and sales reps.
- Minimum 2 years of data entry experience.
- Excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook.)
- Excellent communication skills in English and in French, verbal and written.
- Understand the value of being proactive and solution driven.
- A natural problem solver, analytical, organized and detail oriented.
- Customer service orientation.
- Sage 300 ERP experience an asset.
- Interpersonal Skills/Competencies: Firm, tactful, reliable, persuasive, dependable, consistent, flexible, sensible, objective and emphatic.
