**Job Description**:
As a System Integration Specialist you will conduct root cause analysis and investigate and test technical challenges on a complex system. You will be working on the Land Command Support System (LCSS), which is a highly integrated tactical system composed of communication, networking and information management sub-systems. You will have exposure to various technical areas and learn from SME’s about the system.
- You will develop test plans, cases, procedures and methods for system verification
- Problem solving to understand the cause and effect in complex systems
- Reviewing technical documentation, provide analysis
- Investigating system defects and raise problem reports
- Conducting tests in the lab, collect customer feedback, and collaborate with other product and engineering teams.
- Some work involving Networking and routing, VLANs, Microsoft Applications, radio, voice and data networks and various automation
- Troubleshooting and simulation tools (Robot Framework, Wireshark, CORE, VBS).

Basic Qualifications:
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent OR Related technical degree/diploma supplemented with applicable experience.
- 2+ years of practical experience (Including co-op and Student experience)
- Experience in defining, developing, and executing system tests
- Investigation, characterization, and resolution of defects
- Authoring test documentation, problem reports
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Knowledge or experience in the following an asset:

- Experience with Virtual Machines and Containers
- A background in Information Technology (IT)
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite tools including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Ethernet communications, networking, VLANs, Internet Protocol (IP)
