Tulmar designs, manufactures and distributes engineered protective têxtiles, survivability and safety solutions for the Aerospace, Defence and Public Security industries.

Headquartered in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Tulmar operates a modern 60,000 square foot facility with equipment ranging from computerized cutting tables, stitching machines R.F. (radio frequency) welding and heat sealing equipment to highly sophisticated testing and certification equipment including cold temperature test chambers, inertia reel testing equipment and computerized measurement and test equipment for quality inspection.

We are currently looking for an Administration Generalist to join a dynamic & close-knit team

Job Summary:
Under the guidance of the Director of Finance, the Administrative Generalist is responsible for providing administrative and clerical related duties and services in support of the daily operations of the Administration and Finance department. More specifically, the Administrative Generalist is responsible for supporting the various functions within the dept including AP, AR, data entry, invoicing and HR.

Minimum Education/Work Experience:
College Diploma in Business Accounting or Administration and 2 years relevant work experience

Duties & responsibilities:

- Performs back-up duties to the AP function, order entry, shop floor reporting and invoicing
- Receives and verifies invoices and requisitions for goods and/or services
- Codes, totals, batches and enters entries for accounts payable postings
- Assists the Accountant to monitor and perform month-end closing of shop floors
- Assist Customer Service by sending paperwork for credit references for new customers
- Performs clerical duties including data entry, filing and record keeping
- Participates in month-end closing and supports fiscal year-end reporting
- Participates in physical inventory count and reports
- Greets visitors and maintains front desk security including visitor sign-in processes
- Answers, screens and forwards telephone calls and messages
- Posts transactions to general ledger accounts
- All other duties as required

- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize and operate in a fast paced environment
- Capable of working on multiple project simultaneously
- Valid Police Records Check
