We are looking for a vibrant and dynamic Security Screening and Security in Contracting Analyst to support our Security Branch. The Analyst would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

The Security Screening and Security in Contracting Analyst will be responsible for the coordination and administration of contracting security requirements for the NRC in accordance with applicable government security policies.

**Screening Criteria**:
**Education**:
Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.

A combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.

**Experience**:

- Significant experience working with internal and external clients.
- Significant experience providing advice, guidance and support to clients.
- Significant experience working with a Government of Canada Security Screening environment.
- Experience working with Security Requirements Checklist (SRCL)** would be considered an asset but not required.**

** **Significant is defined as at least 3 years of experience.**

**Condition of Employment**:
Secret (II)

A Secret clearance must be obtained within 12 months of employment.

**Language Requirements**:
Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC

**Technical Competencies**:

- Advanced knowledge of security requirements and the Industrial Security Program as defined by the Policy on Government Security within the Government of Canada context.
- Advanced knowledge of the instruments used to ensure compliance of the Government of Canada policy on Security including Security Requirements Check List (SRCL) and Private Sector Organization Screening (PSOS).

From $64,022 to $75,389 per annum.

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
