**This position is a one-year contract (starting January 2023) and can be based in Montreal or Toronto or Ottawa.**

**Your role**
- As the Manager, Production Studio and Corporate Brand Management you will play a key role in the development and implementation of the public broadcaster’s brand marketing strategy to promote CBC/Radio-Canada nationally and internationally. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy, Partnerships and Brand Management, you will work closely with the entire Corporate Communications team as well as other internal and external partners.**CBC/Radio-Canada Brand Management Strategy**
- Advise on development and support implementation of a brand marketing strategy to promote CBC/Radio-Canada nationally and internationally.- Manage the visual identity of CBC/Radio-Canada and its corporate services. Oversee the graphic standards guide for the CBC/Radio-Canada brand.- For projects requiring graphic or digital production, contribute marketing expertise and advise on the form, format and best practices for optimal impact and success.- Act as art director on multiple projects (e.g., presentations, reports, advertising, animation).- Work closely with the English and French Services Communications teams to address or resolve issues that could affect brand reputation.- Generate creative, innovative ideas and concepts to support the Corporate Communications team’s strategic objectives.**Digital Platform Management**
- Review the user experience on the internal communications platform and corporate website. Issue recommendations for improving their performance and effectiveness.- In tandem with the Information Technology and Applications Solutions teams, develop and roll out new features on the internal communications platform and corporate website. Manage the continuous improvement process.- Develop the art direction for those platforms.- Coordinate with your team to ensure that content is integrated on time.- Develop and produce with your team newsletters targeting a variety of audiences.**Operations and Resource Management**
- Supervise the graphic design and web development teams. Provide excellent team management by setting clear objectives as well as promoting career development, employee engagement and a positive team environment.- Set objectives and priorities for your team in alignment with Corporate Communications strategic objectives.- Effectively manage your team’s day-to-day work, set priorities, and ensure good communication among all players on projects.- Establish effective project briefing and tracking mechanisms. Ensure that all players understand and buy into project objectives.- Effectively manage work with Corporate Communications freelance contributors and external suppliers.- Build and maintain strategic relationships with English and French Services Communications managers and other in-house contributors.- Have a solid understanding of budget imperatives and be able to deliver projects within those constraints.-
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or other relevant field, or equivalent experience.-
- One to three years’ experience in a project management role overseeing digital projects; knowledge of social media and brand management.-
- Five (5) or more years’ experience in a communications or marketing role.-
- Bilingualism (English/French, spoken and written).-
- Excellent knowledge of digital storytelling.-
- Familiarity with the latest digital and design trends.-
- Highly creative, detail-oriented and team-focused.-
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and negotiating skills in a complex environment-
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.-
- Excellent judgment, initiative and independence.-
- Ability to work remotely with a multi-city team using digital collaborative tools.-
