**About Great Glasses**

Great Glasses is a family run chain of eyeglasses stores with a focus on offering a complete eyewear solution through a 3-for-1 offer. Their complete history dates back to the early ‘90s, but in 2010 Great Glasses moved its operations from Ontario to British Columbia. There are currently 4 stores in the Lower Mainland with a new store opening in the heart of Kitsilano this June.

**The Opportunity**

We are opening a new store and looking for people to help We’re in search of a full-time or part-time Social Media Marketing Coordinator to help with our pre-opening marketing plan as well as to grow our social media presence after the store’s launch. The scope of the role has room to grow as you do

**Position Overview**

Our Social Media Marketing Coordinator will work directly with the store’s team and ownership to maintain our presence across each of our social media platforms. In time, you'll be expected to:

- Develop and execute an ongoing content calendar including traditional posts and videos that applies the company’s marketing objectives to current social media trends
- Promptly respond to inbound messages on Instagram and Facebook in a way that reflects good customer service and a willingness to build a sense of community
- Maintain a network of collaborators to coordinate with on experiencing Great Glasses, developing lifestyle content around their eyewear and other initiatives to build brand awareness
- Manage and update paid ads on Meta for ongoing events and promotions

The role is expected to be performed mostly remote but having access to the Kitsilano location is mandatory. Ability to drive and make content in the other locations is a plus.

**Wage**
- $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience and scope of work.
- Bonus pay on achieving key metrics.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
