**What you’ll do**:
As a member of the Alberni Co-op Petroleum team, the Ice Production Associate will be responsible for the production and delivery of our ice products. The Production Associate will demonstrate great customer service for our members and will perform other duties in the Petroleum department as assigned.

**Duties**
- Produce ice efficiently and safely in our ice making facility.
- Deliver ice products to various internal and external customers in a timely fashion.
- Tracking ice inventory at both internal and external customer locations.
- Tracking supplies and advising the Petroleum manager when supplies need to be ordered.
- Keep the ice production facility free of clutter and debris.
- Informing the Petroleum manager when the ice production facility requires maintenance.
- Assisting the maintenance person with various maintenance duties as requested.
- To ensure outstanding level of service is provided with a positive and professional attitude.
- Follow safe work procedures for the position as required along with wearing appropriate PPE.

**Qualifications**
- You have a valid drivers license with a clean abstract.
- You are able push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
- You can repetitively lift 10 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a cold and a hot environment (outdoors).
- Must be able to work independently and within a team.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must have strong math skills.
- Must be prompt and punctual.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Must be able to work a schedule from Thursday - Monday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
