Rocky Point Ice Cream started in 1997 as a summer ice cream shop operating out of a tiny kiosk in Rocky Point Park. Over the past few years, we have grown into a popular gathering place for locals, a destination for tourists, and we have expanded our reach by the introduction of our roving ice cream trucks Scooper, Rocky, Hitch, plus our new store in New Westminster and Coquitlam. We have numerous award-wins including “Best Company” at the Small Business BC Awards, and many other local awards. We came up with the concept for “The Canteen” with the vision of a bistro-inspired café bringing quality food and friends together. We serve a variety of foods including soups, sandwiches, baked goods, soft-serve ice cream, coffee, and alcoholic beverages.We are passionate about our business, our product, our community, and our staff.

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Greeting and interacting with guests
- Providing excellent customer service
- Preparing sandwiches, soups, and salads for guests
- Making specialty coffees
- Serving soft serve and other novelty items
- Operating our POS, handling cash & credit/debit transactions
- Opening and closing duties

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- 19+ years of age
- FOODSAFE Level 1 Certified
- Serving It Right Certified
- Available for weekdays and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour
