Restaurant Supervisor

We are hiring Supervisor for our restaurant and we are looking for smart and hard working team players to join our wonderful team.
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required, Quick learner and passion for job in food industry
Experience: Serving in Fast-food or working in Asian cuisine experience an asset
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is in proximity of 2 min walk.

Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills Keep records of the quantities of food used, Portion and wrap foods, Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, take customers' orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs, Package take-out food, Serve customers at dinning area and over the counters, Stock refrigerators. Washing and cleaning Skills Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, Scour pots and pans, Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units, Place dishes in storage area, mop and sweep floor, clean washrooms. Equipment and Machinery Experience Gas Range, Deep Fryer, Wok and Soup equipment, electronic cash register, Food & drink dispensers Kitchen Helpers Skills Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Handle and store cleaning products, sharpen kitchen knives, Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, Remove kitchen garbage and trash. Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Food Service Helpers Specific Skills Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables, Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, Load bus pans and trays.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Stittsville, ON K2S 2R1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
