**Skills and experience you’ll bring to the team**:

- A degree in a quantitative discipline (math, computer science, or life sciences).
- 2+ years of industry experience working as a data scientist.
- 3+ years experience using modern data science tools in an applied setting to operationalize and implement machine learning algorithms in production.
- 3+ years of software development experience developing data products.
- Advanced coding skills in Python
- Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience working with data science and machine learning tools and frameworks, such as NLTK, PyTorch, TensorFlow, explainable AI algorithms, graph databases, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, DVC, et cetera.
- Advanced knowledge of the mathematical and statistical concepts underlying machine learning and neural network methods.
- Working with Developers, AWS, Jira, Jupyter Labs, Docker and CI/CD process.
- Familiarity with full stack development is an asset.

**Compensation and Location**:
This position is based in either our Calgary or Edmonton office. Salary will be commensurate with experience. No relocation costs will be awarded.
