**Responsibilities**:
- Provide effective leadership and direction to restaurant managers and staff, ensuring consistent operational excellence across all locations.
- Support, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they meet service quality expectations, ensure operational practices are streamlined and supervisors and managers are well-trained.
- Identify unit needs and provide training solutions across multiple restaurant units.
- Supervise the POS system, provide training, and oversee equipment maintenance by vendors.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Make sure that all customer-related tasks are handled accurately and on time to improve guests' experience.
- Oversee inventory control and procurement processes to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and manage supplier relationships.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and support for career development.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans, set goals, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Maintain updated files and records for efficient management of restaurant operations.
- Guarantee all operations align with company policies and standards.
- Establish a customer-focused culture and handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Communicate and implement company values, policies, and missions.
- Undertake other appropriate duties essential for the smooth running of restaurant operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Certification from an accredited Post-Secondary Institute in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related major, an asset.
- 8 years of Restaurant Supervisor, Management Experience or equivalent position.
- Excellent knowledge of product trends and current awareness of industry standards.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A deep-rooted passion for food, exceptional customer service, and the restaurant industry.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and executing cost and budget plans within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Experience and well-developed skills with a broad range of business software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Apps are required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in staff management and training.
- Comfort and proficiency in operating PCs and POS systems.
- Focused on finding solutions and meticulously attentive to details, demonstrating a high level of professionalism in all aspects of work.
- Proven ability to adapt creatively, remain flexible, and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Energetic, approachable, and dedicated to fostering teamwork and collaboration within the organization.
Work Environment:
- The work environment can be loud and busy due to the nature of restaurant operations.
- Potential hazards include hot surfaces, liquids, sharp knives, and slippery floors in the kitchen area.
- This role regularly demands long hours and may include weekend work.
- The role entails travel to and from multiple venues in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
