**Project Manager 1 - Asset Safety**

Number of positions: 1 Job Location: Edmonds B03

Employment type: Permanent Region: Lower Mainland

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Hybrid

Annual salary: $ 107,000.00 - 135,300.00

**What you'll do**
- from an asset management perspective. The core function of the Capital Planning & Regulatory group is to provide
- planning, regulatory, and safety support at different levels of management across Asset Planning.
- The position includes, but is not limited to, the following capabilities and duties:
- Review the Asset Management general safety accountabilities and conduct a gap analysis against existing processes.
- Facilitate updates to the Asset Management general safety accountabilities, consolidating input from across the teams

within Asset Planning, Safety, Engineering, Project Delivery and Operations.- Establish processes to ensure Asset Planning is fulfilling its general safety accountabilities.
- Update and/or develop processes to engage Asset Planning in solutions related to asset safety issues raised by the

various Joint Health and Safety Committees.- Manage the Safety Risk Register for Asset Planning including risk identification/documentation, updates and report outs to

various levels of Integrated Planning.- Support on-going safety driven initiatives including Asset Management documentation updates (strategies, standards,

etc.).- Participate in working groups delivering safety governance changes/updates.
- Support other short duration initiatives within Asset Planning that may not have a safety focus.

**What you bring**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education along with demonstrated experience in a contributing discipline such as

Engineering, Business, Environmental Sciences, or Economics.
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience in fields of expertise (e.g. Engineering, Finance, Safety, Project/Program

considered.
- Skilled in building positive business relationships with people at different levels and with expertise/experience in different

areas
- Results-driven, while respecting the importance of collaboration and teamwork.
- Proven planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have the ability to effectively manage and meet multiple competing priority deadlines.
