The company owns and operates the Ekati Diamond Mine, located in Canada’s Northwest Territories. In addition to its mining and exploration operations, Arctic Canadian has offices in Canada and Belgium.

**Position Overview**

Reporting to the Team Leader - Site Services, the Equipment Operator - Utility 1 will operate equipment and perform labour tasks both safely and efficiently to successfully achieve the overall objectives of the Site Services department.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
- Safely and efficiently operate the following equipment: Vacuum / Roll-off / Sewer / Water / Cement / De-icing / Winch Trucks, 730 Articulating rock trucks, 777 Haul truck, IT 38 / 62 Front End Loaders, Cement Plant and Shot Crete Plant;
- Safely and efficiently perform labour tasks including, but not limited to, dewatering duties, shoveling aggregate etc.

**Education/Experience**
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Class 1 Air Brake Certification
- 1 year experience operating equipment in the construction or mining industry; please list equipment experience.
- Experience working in the mining industry, northern Canada, and an understanding of the northern regulatory environment is preferred

**Additional Information**

Arctic provides travel to and from the Ekati mine site out of Calgary, Yellowknife, and other northern fly points.
