**Who are we looking for?**

**Position summary**

In your role you will lead all external communication initiatives, advise CPAB's senior leadership and anticipate and expertly handle current and emerging issues that affect the organization's reputation. You will develop and communicate a clear, consistent message for the organization**. **Creating and distributing meaningful and impactful content to a sophisticated audience, including business leaders and decision makers, is key to success in this role.

**Skills and experience**
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in English, communications, journalism or public relations.
- 15
- years of communications leadership experience and a proven record of developing and executing comprehensive communications strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Extensive experience with content development and editing technical copy and managing the production process for publications.
- Strong understanding of capital markets.
- Experience in a regulatory environment and strong understanding of regulatory voice is highly desirable.
- Experienced as communications lead for issue management and organizational crises.
- Background in boardroom communications.
- Government relations or public affairs experience is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with the audit sector and ability to grasp complex audit profession issues is preferred.
- Ability to operate in French would be an asset.
