**Commissionaires BC currently recruiting for a security supervisor to work at a Community Corrections Centre in Chilliwack.**

**Shift times: Monday to Friday 6am till 2pm**

**Some of your responsibilities include**:

- Performing interior patrols and conducting daily resident counts
- Interacting with Correctional staff and residents
- Maintaining official visitor and resident logs, count sheets, and resident sign-in/out sheets
- Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents
- Enforcing and maintaining resident curfews
- Equipment care and maintenance
- Investigating incidents promptly and accurately
- Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessment
- Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations as per deadlines
- Oversee training and scheduling of Commissionaires
- Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress
- Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
- Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy
- Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders

**Your Must - Haves**
- BC Security Licence
- OFA 1 or willing to obtain one
- Comfortable working in a correctional environment
- Supervisory experience
- Class 5 Drivers Licence and clean abstract
- Have been residing in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
- Reliable transportation to and from the Chilliwack site

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
