**Job Summary**

Innivec is looking for a Proposal Writer who will be responsible for developing, writing, and editing proposals and other documents to support the business development and sales efforts of the company. This role requires a combination of technical writing skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail to create compelling and persuasive proposals that align with the company’s objectives and client requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Proposal Development**:

- Research, write, and build proposals for special projects.
- Develop and maintain proposal templates and ensure consistency in style, format, and tone.

**Content Management**:

- Maintain a database of proposal content and templates.
- Regularly update and improve proposal content to reflect the latest information, best practices, and company capabilities.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with the business development, sales, and marketing teams to understand the client’s needs and tailor proposals accordingly.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of proposals and related documents.
- Present and review proposal drafts with internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure all proposals meet the company’s standards for quality, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Proofread and edit documents for clarity, grammar, and compliance with RFP requirements.

**Market and Industry Research**:

- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and client needs to inform proposal content and strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporate them into proposal processes.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify and implement improvements to the proposal development process.
- Develop and maintain proposal development guidelines and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in government related proposals.
- Proven experience as a proposal writer or similar role, preferably in a related industry.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Knowledge of the specific industry or market the company operates in.
- Certification in proposal management (e.g., APMP) is an advantage.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
