**WHO YOU ARE**

The Collections Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of contribution reports and payments from employers while maintaining strong employer relations.

You will be responsible for:

- Monitor and investigate delinquent accounts, contact companies, union locals and industry associations for information on delinquent companies. Prepare and send out letters.
- Liaise companies and/or union locals regarding discrepancies or errors on contribution reports.
- Download E-submit reports; check pay periods, statement ID and company number.
- Provide support for employers (i.e., understanding plan rules, EmployerConnect issues)
- Calculate and input under/over payment adjustments and follow up with the company
- Ensure timely receipt and processing of company reports
- Enter cheques, EFT, and PAD on the system, verify and balance the bank deposit. Allocate payments to receivables.
- Review audit results and submit final audit report to manager for review. Follow usual procedures to collect amounts owing. Maintain audit information.
- Maintain company records including such things as change of address and change of employer contacts.
- Review accounts receivable output in absence of Manager, Contributions to ensure accurate processing of contributions.

**YOU HAVE/ARE**
- Minimum high school graduation supplemented with business related post-secondary education and a minimum two (2) years accounts receivable experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to schedule and prioritize tasks and functions.
- Ability to review reports and enter accurate data into various computer systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to organize work.
- Must display discretion, tact, and sensitivity in dealing with confidential matters and member situations.
- Must be able to work as a team and on an individual basis.

This union position is part of Move-Up Movement of United Professionals.
