Kitchen Staff

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Prep Chef to join our kitchen team and support our culinary operations. You will mainly be responsible for assisting in food preparation, ensuring ingredients are properly prepped and ready for cooking, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, trimming meat, and measuring ingredients according to recipes.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes prepared.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Stock and organize inventory, rotating ingredients to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Assist other kitchen staff as needed during peak hours, including plating dishes, garnishing plates, and coordinating with the cooking team.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times, following proper procedures for handling and storing food.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a prep or line cook role.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
- Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
