***Mandate**

As a security professional, you are certain that the analysis of evidence-based facts is the foundation on which effective action is built. As a true manager, you are able to use your influence and leadership skills to effectively train our organization.

The Cyber Security manager is reporting to the CRO, and working closely with the Leadership team, you will play a key role in achieving results for the organization.
- _**_CHALLENGES TO BE MET_**
- Performs as a key stakeholder to develop cyber risk strategies suitable for a financial institution
- Identifies cyber risks and develop cyber risk register
- Develops and implements information security management program in accordance with recognized security and technology governance frameworks
- Collaborates with the leadership team to provide operational expertise and strategic direction to Facilitate cyber risk assessments and informed decision making
- Reviews security governance structures, processes, & procedures to prevent security breaches, major incidents, and non-compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitors and conducts ongoing assessments of security standards necessary for breach prevention, detection, and remediation.
- Perform cyber threat modeling and business impact analysis to ensure cyber assets are adequately protected with proper cybersecurity measures and controls
- Provides reports to leadership team and other stakeholders on security matters.
- Delivers user education programs to employees and the Board of Directors on security to support compliance objectives and improve security awareness.
- Implements security incident response plans and serves as the response lead during incidents.
- Facilitates development of security policies, standards and procedures and performs ongoing assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
- Contributes to the business strategies and plans, bringing security and governance expertise; ensures the security strategies align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Ensure risk-based management choices align with applicable laws, regulations and our client experience
- Manages other initiatives as required.

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Bachelor’s in computer science or other relevant university-level training
- Minimum of five years' experience combining team and information system management
- Five years' experience in the information security and financial service filed.
- CISM or CISSP designation an asset but not required
- Superior teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal and professional relationship skills aimed at building and developing a network of contacts.
- Independence, initiative, leadership, managerial courage, influence, as well as above-average communication skills that can be frequently drawn upon in unclear and complicated situations.
- Ability to anticipate difficulties and issues and develop and implement innovative solutions in line with objectives.
