**Accountabilities
- 1. Maintain the uninterrupted flow of data communications and telephone services by monitoring operations and resolving problems to ensure timely, reliable and cost-effective network/telecom services to client departments. This includes management and maintenance for the Cisco voice environment (Call Manager/Unity Connection/Contact Centre Express).
- 3. Implement and maintain a robust, flexible, expandable infrastructure to support the cloud/network/internet business requirements of the Polytechnic.
- 4. Knowledge of physical cabling standards and data centre best practices to expand the physical network. Close, collaborative partnerships with the Facilities department and electrical contractors are essential.
- 5. Knowledge of all components in the network (e.g. switches, routers, controllers, access points, firewalls, servers, etc.) to plan and lifecycle the interconnected enterprise.
- 7. Possession of a security-first mindset. This includes applied experience with Next-Generation Firewalls, VPNs, IoT networks, 802.1x, and other cybersecurity best practices.
- 8. Ability to do medium-effort physical work. For example, lifting servers and network equipment, accessing tight spaces for cabling, and climbing ladders to mount access points. Regular exposure to hot, loud environments such as data centres are also expected.**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline) and several years of enterprise experience in network, telephone, system administration or related fields. A suitable combination of education and experience may also be considered
- Professional designations granted by Cisco, Aruba, or other networking disciplines such as CCNA and/or CompTIA Network+ would be a strong additional asset

**Preferred Qualifications**
- While this role works closely with a small team of professionals, it is expected that the Network Analyst will be a self-starter who thrives with mínimal supervision

- Starting from $76,652 to $90,180 per annum; commensurate with education and experience.**Working Here**
