**What will you work on?**
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Revenue and Contract Management, the Manager, Credit and Collections will be a key member of the Credit and Collections team. The Manager, Credit and Collections is responsible for overseeing the credit and collections processes for the North American operations including managing a team of credit analysts and collections specialists.
**How will you create impact?**
**Oversight of the Credit Collection function**
- Provide oversight to the Order-to-Cash process to maximize cash receipts through strategic partnerships with Operations and Sales
- Lead key monthly/quarterly meetings with Sales, Operations and Finance, as required
- Monitor customer accounts receivable balances to minimize credit exposure and ensure timely recovery of outstanding debt
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of credit analysts and collections specialists
- Implement and drive team performance measurement and reporting
- Establish KPI’s to optimize cash receipts and reduce Day Sales Outstanding (DSO) and prepare regular KPI reporting cadence
- Monitor and establish relationships with all North American customers to strategically manage financial, environmental, and political risk associated to accounts receivables
- Review process contractual spend customer fines in accordance with the Company’s authorization limits
- Effectively manage customer escalations and disputes
**Compliance and Risk Management**
- Identify and report risks associated with Allowance for Doubtful Accounts (AFDA), Bankruptcies and Collection Activities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other Corporate Policies
- Ensure that in conjunction with the Corporate Internal Control Group, all transaction processes are properly documented, controls identified, and their effectiveness evaluated and strengthened
- Participate in projects, meetings, and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies, as required
- Manage external and internal audit requirements
**What are your skills and experience?**
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related discipline
- 4+ years’ experience in a public company setting, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry
- Accounts Receivable and Deductions resolution experience is an asset
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with High Radius is an asset
- Strong computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office and advanced level Excel skill (pivots, v-lookups, and advanced formulas)
