Total Instant Lawns provides premium landscaping services to the Ottawa area. We are seeking a reliable, honest, and hardworking Landscape Foreman/Lead Hand to join our landscaping crews. Total Instant Lawns is a growing company with lots of opportunities to grow with us.

As a foreman, you will be responsible for your crew and project for the day. Most project will be resodding properties within the city limits.

Responsibilities include:

- Site management of projects.
- Operate various tools and equipment.
- Ensure safe work practices of the team on site.
- Manage the project quality and productivity of the job site from start to completion.
- Delegate, coordinate, and supervise the day to day activities of the landscaping crew to complete projects on time, on budget, and to a high level of quality.
- Complete daily logs.
- Comply, and ensure your crew complies, with all company and regulatory policies.
- Propose and implement areas for improvement.
- Ensure customer service standards are upheld in all interactions with current and prospective clients.
- Employee training.

Qualifications:

- Experience in grading, sod installation, and other softscaping services is required.
- Experience in the safe use of landscaping equipment is preferred.
- Experience in operating heavy machinery, including mini-ex and skid steer machines is considered an asset.
- Experience driving loaded trailers and landscape dump trucks with 5 tons of equipment and/or aggregate.
- Valid G driver’s license
- Class AR License considered an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good physical condition.
- Managerial experience is an asset.
- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under-pressure and use strong time management skills to deliver.
- Personal transportation required

This is a full time contract position. There is a possibility for extension throughout the winter with guaranteed pay.

Total Instant Lawns offers competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience. Performance bonuses are given to reward exceptional work.

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
