**Summary**:
**Typical Accountabilities**:
**Contract Drafting**:
Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including in particular procurement and supplier contracts, service agreements with health care professionals, non-disclosure agreements and licenses.

Ensure that all contracts comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies.

Assist with negotiations and execution of contracts, working closely with the legal and business teams.

Maintain an organized system for tracking and managing contracts.

**Policy Compliance**:
Assist in the development of internal policies and procedures.

**Governance**:
Assist in corporate governance activities, including the preparation of board materials, minutes, resolutions, and other corporate documents.

Assist with corporate secretarial functions, such as maintaining corporate records and filings.

Conduct focused legal research related to changes in laws and regulations impacting the business, and provide relevant updates to the team.

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills**

**Essential**
- Licensed paralegal (P1) by the Law Society of Ontario
- At least 3 years of work experience in a heavily regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent legal drafting skills
- Proficient in legal research
- Ability to act independently
- Solution and action-oriented approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage complexity and cultivate innovation with an attention to detail
- Demonstrable accountability and integrity
- English fluency

**Desirable**
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment
- Bilingualism in English and French
- Knowledge of legal aspects of digital innovation
- Previous experience working in-house
