**First, Second & Third Cooks**

Heritage Park is looking for 1st, 2nd& 3rd Cooks. Leave the modern day behind and become a member of the Heritage Park team where we offer a professional and fun work environment, on-the-job training, staff discount on food and retail, free Park admission, complimentary staff parking and the opportunity to be a part of one of Calgary’s top attractions in the most unique, exceptional setting.
- **This is a casual position with a start date of May 2nd 2023.**_

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- As outlined by standardized recipes and procedures, prepares food for the daily menus in assigned area(s) of work;
- Ensures that all equipment is in good working order and that it and all work surfaces are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and organized manner at all times;
- Ensures that all Heritage Park policies and procedures and AHS guidelines relevant to safe food handling are strictly adhered to;
- Follows Heritage Park’s code of conduct and maintains respectful working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, subordinates and members of other departments;
- Assists other sections in the Kitchen / Culinary Services department as needed;
- Ensures that the quality and timeliness of food prepared meets established Heritage Park guidelines;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills**:

- Good organizational skills and the ability to follow standard procedures with mínimal supervision. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Tact and courtesy are required

**Education**:

- High school diploma in addition to completion of a relevant post-secondary certificate or equivalent designation

**Special Clothing and Equipment**:

- Heritage Park provided white uniforms. Personal tools and appropriate footwear to be supplied by the individual

**Hours of Work**:

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Work Location: In person
