**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with daily accounting activities, including data entry and record maintenance.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports as required.
- Assist with audits, both internal and external, by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding financial matters.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and answering phones.
- Support the accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
