Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst
The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with the team in supporting all business intelligence related-maters, including technical support, system maintenance, data analysis, and ad-hoc report. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Education
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Accounting, Finance, or related studies.

Years of Experience
- 1 Year

Working Conditions
- Hours of Operation: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Junior Level
- Advanced level in MS Office 365 (Excel, Macros, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint);
- Intermediate level in Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and Power Automate);
- Strong SQL Skills (Queries, Views, Stored Procedure);
- Knowledge of one of the data analysis programming languages (Python, R) is an asset;
- Knowledge in ERP system and Crystal Report Writer is an asset;
- Demonstrates initiative, diligence, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn;
- Attention to detail and accuracy is required;
- Create and maintain BI documentation for all processes and related data dictionary, design logic, flowchart, and user manual;
- Assist in stakeholder management, build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Effectively communicate issues, actively engage, influence, and work collaboratively as a team member;
- Professional and tact to handle confidential information and;
- Demonstrate State's core values and work in a team environment.

Job Specific Duties
- Assist in all stages of a business intelligence life cycle, including SOP documentation, system maintenance, and routine report;
- Manage help desk tickets, provide technical support to users and perform troubleshooting on system support;
- Assist in the data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and create ad-hoc report;
- Support and maintain the corporate intranet website and the automated workflows;
- Maintain security access control, create the user account, and provide ERP administrative assistance;
- Assist in system implementation, integration service, and training support;
- Any other necessary tasks assigned by the Manager, Business Intelligence and Reporting.
