Number of positions: 1 Job Location: Surrey-Investment Recovery

Employment type: Permanent Region: Lower Mainland

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role:
Hourly Rate: $ 47.93

**What you'll do**
- As per IBEW Collective Agreement.
- A Journeyperson Winder shall wind, overhaul, maintain and repair electrical motors, generators, transformers, regulators,

coils, other electrical machines and apparatus
** What you bring**
- As per IBEW Collective Agreement.
- Trade Qualification as a Winder or IP (Interprovincial Endorsement)
- A valid Class 5 B.C. driver´s licence and clean driver´s abstract
- Six (6) to eight (8) years experience in construction
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- A strong commitment to safety, WorkSafeBC requirements and safe work practices
- Previous Utility experience would be an asset
- Interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and internal and external customers are an essential factor in the selection

process
- Basic computer skills and good written and verbal communication skills are required for this position

- This position is based at the Oil Management Department in Surrey, near the construction services building. It is a

Monday to Friday role with occasional overtime.
- Travel is mínimal and only required if there is an operational need for a winder from OMD to be in the field.
- A condition of employment for this job is that you maintain the following requirements in good standing:

- Driver's License Type = Class 5
- Elec Motor System Tech (Winder) Red Seal
