**Field Survey Technician**

Matson Peck and Topliss (MPT), located in Richmond, BC has a full-time job opportunity for a Field Survey Technician. Our firm is engaged in diverse projects that include legal, topographic, construction, GPS, control, monitoring, and engineering surveys throughout the Lower Mainland.

**Job Duties**:

- Lead a survey crew, for the accurate and timely completion of field survey projects
- Liaise effectively with managers to coordinate field survey work and discuss survey methodologies for the completion of survey projects
- Work on various types of surveys including legal, topographic, construction and engineering

**Requirements**:

- Degree or diploma in geomatics or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience with legal and or related surveys
- Experience in operating total station, digital level, data collector and GPS equipment
- Experience leading a survey crew would be an asset
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, calculations and note keeping
- Familiarity with extracting information from various types of plans
- Experience working outdoors under varied weather conditions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team setting
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
