**Major Responsibilities**:

- To report to the Production Manager and communicate all matters or concerns pertaining to shipping, receiving and warehouse / storage area
- To receive all material coming into the building following established procedure including verification of type and quantity with receiving records, check for any damage and completion of all related paperwork
- Ensure all materials and services are shipped on time in the correct quantities with the correct paperwork
- Ensure shipping policies and procedures are followed and shipments are documented accordingly
- Receive incoming goods and match with its packing slip and organize the inventory on the shelves
- Check stock levels, work with Buyer-Planner to ensure material re-ordered in an efficient manner; restock upon receiving
- Empty/refill raw material storage with appropriate materials in a safe manner as directed; Return raw material left at the end of the production to correct storage area.
- Operate powered industrial equipment, such as forklifts, etc to load and unload materials; maintain equipment with respect to oil, water and changing of propane tank
- Participate in physical inventories with higher level of responsibility
- To participate co-operatively as an employee within the company Performance Appraisal Process and Merit Rating System.
- To actively participate in company, staff or individual one-on-one meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co-operation strategies within the department as well as other departments across the company.
- To continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
- To fully abide and actively support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of nature resources and the Health & Safety of all employees.
- To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Operations Manager, Production Manager or Planning Supervisor in a timely and professional manner.

- High School education or equivalent experience

**Minimum Experience & Training Requirement**:

- 1-5 years shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Ability to read and understand invoices and shipping documents
- Data entry skills (SAP experience preferred)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Knowledge of crating and packaging requirements a plus
- Strong desire to serve customers and other production team members
- Willingness to learn and succeed
