Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager

Location: Greater Toronto Area

General Duties:
To provide preventive maintenance and routine maintenance of facility and machines. Willingness to wear multiple hats and be a team player in a fast-paced start-up environment. This is full time position.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform routine equipment, machine and tool maintenance activities on equipment including lubrication, inspection, and replacement part

Read diagrams and drawings to determine work procedures
- Conduct regular Preventive Maintenance schedules on organizational assets
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance issue
- May operate power equipment such as forklifts, saws, drills and other items
- Prioritizing and coordinating activities to support both shifts
- Participate in daily staff meetings and prioritize action items
- Works on special projects as directed by the management team
- Contributes to team effort by taking on added tasks as required
- Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of all data
- Lead and maintain a safe, secure, enjoyable professional working environment
- Performs related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and organizational skills
- Attention to details and reporting activities
- Able to troubleshoot
- Self-motivating with a positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve

Typical working conditions:

- Schedule may change depending on business requirements. Continental Shift day and nights.
- Manufacturing plant with continuous interaction on manufacturing floor where PPE is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$37.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 2 years (required)
- Electrical: 1 year (preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- Pneumatic: 1 year (preferred)
- Hydraulic: 1 year (preferred)
