**Supplier Quality Development Coordinator**

**AAA Canada is a manufacturing company that has been providing subcontracting and technical assistance to industrialization, production and maintenance processes for about 15 years**

**We operate in the Aerospace, Ground Transportation and Energy sectors.**

**A typical day?**
- The Supplier Quality Development (SQD) Coordinator takes part in the selection and development of supplier potential in accordance with the CLIENT values and processes.
- Establishes effective communication with suppliers, to ensure quality-related questions are handled promptly.
- Oversee supplier segment quality as assigned by manager.
- Support purchasing and engineering in developing and selecting suppliers.
- Participate in the production of the supplier quality assurance manual and develop suppliers towards these best-in-class practices.
- Conduct and/or assist with supplier evaluation model (SEM) assessments.
- Track suppliers during the design process with an APQP approach.
- Oversee the introduction of new parts in production. Plan the PPAP submission, perform regular follow-up, secure deliverables are on time and signal approval to suppliers to start production.
- Identify potential risks in supplier manufacturing processes and make improvements to mitigate risks.
- Secure supplier changes to parts and processes (PPCN).
- Oversee the supplier scorecard system and take part in setting supplier objectives.
- Require action plans for recurrent quality or systemic issues.
- Take part in other Quality-related projects as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5 years of relevant experience in Quality, ideally working with suppliers
- Experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in the automotive sector or related.
- Experience as an auditor, an asset
- Knowledge of APQP under AIAG and ISO/TS 16949, an asset
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methods (Kaizen, 5S, Toyota production system)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Sound project management skills
- Bilingualism (French - English) in speaking and writing is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the client site and technical documentation.
