Inside Sales Representative

**Job Summary**:
The Inside Sales Representative is tasked with driving revenue growth by actively upselling additional product lines, contacting prior customers to rekindle relationships, and supporting overall sales initiatives within the construction industry.
You will also be responsible for Social Media Coordination, managing online customer interactions, responding to comments and inquiries, and maintaining a positive brand image through active engagement on social platforms.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Upselling & Cross-Selling**:
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell existing clients on additional products or services.
- Educate clients about the company’s full range of offerings, including new or complementary products that enhance their current projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand product synergies and communicate these benefits to clients.
- **Re-engage Prior Customers**:
- Regularly reach out to former clients to reignite relationships, update them on new offerings, and gauge their current or future project needs.
- Maintain a follow-up schedule to ensure consistent engagement with past clients, offering tailored product suggestions based on their previous projects.
- **Lead Generation & Qualification**:
- Ensure that new leads are nurtured and funneled through the sales pipeline.
- **Relationship Building**:
- Establish and strengthen relationships with customers by understanding their long-term needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Use a consultative sales approach to suggest improvements or enhancements that benefit the customer’s operations.
- **Sales Support**:
- Prepare proposals, estimates, and other sales materials to support client discussions and project proposals.
- Coordinate with the operations and production teams to ensure smooth delivery and execution of sold projects.
- **Sales Follow-up & Reporting**:
- Follow up on quotations, bids, and previous engagements to close sales.
- Track sales progress and document customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Provide regular reports on performance metrics, including customer re-engagement, upselling success, and lead conversions.
- **Market Analysis & Feedback**:
- Keep track of market trends and competitor activities to spot opportunities for upselling and new products.
- Gather customer feedback and identify areas for improvement in product offerings or sales strategies.
- **Collaboration with Marketing**:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on promotional materials and client outreach campaigns.
- **Customer Interaction & Engagement**:
- Respond promptly to customer comments, questions, and inquiries on all social media platforms.
- Act as the online voice of the company, maintaining professionalism and a customer-first attitude in all responses.
- **Issue Resolution & Escalation**:
- Identify and resolve customer complaints or concerns posted online in a timely and effective manner.
- Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate internal teams and ensure a follow-up response is provided to the customer.
- **Monitor Brand Mentions**:
- Track and monitor the company’s social media presence, including mentions, reviews, and feedback.
- Alert the team to any trends or recurring issues that may require further attention.
- **Content Support**:
- Support the marketing team by sharing customer insights and popular questions to inform content creation (FAQs, guides, etc.).
- Ensure social media profiles are up-to-date and reflect current company information.
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills with a focus on upselling and customer retention.
- Experience in B2B sales, particularly in construction or related industries.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and ability to track and manage a customer pipeline.
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
