**SAFETY MANAGER, SPECIAL PROJECTS**
Victoria

As Safety Manager, Special Projects, your goal is to ensure the achievement of all Safety associated projects and initiatives, in accordance with corporate objectives and in support of Safety & Health at BC Ferries. Reporting to the Director, Safety Management System, you are responsible to manage, plan and execute safety project related activities. Your key responsibilities include: researching, developing and implementing safety projects; managing resources to meet scope and schedule; facilitating, presenting, training and communicating in support of successful project delivery. You will ensure project documentation and record management is maintained to a high standard and provide project sustainment support.

You are passionate about safety and making a difference, you lead with integrity, you maintain a high degree of professionalism, and you have a demonstrated ability to make sound decisions. You are a proven collaborator, strong communicator and facilitator with excellent report writing and public speaking skills. You work well under pressure, and you can effectively delegate and manage competing priorities.
