**POSITION DESCRIPTON**
This position is responsible for training and assisting the Canadian retail network in sales and aftermarket support activities, including growth in motive power revenues and end-user satisfaction with V-Force products. This position provides direct management support for the Motive Power Specialist in other regions within Canada. This position reports to the Managing Director - Canada Commercial Operations.
- Direct Branch in the marketing/selling of company V-Force motive power programs. Monitor branch charger bookings report and charger sales to determine focus of training and sales support.
- Provide initial product training, product updates and what's new/next in the field.
- Assist retailer efforts with the development of the sales force in motive power knowledge and confidence.
- Select, train, develop, and counsel direct reports, including Talent Development discussion sessions, rating performance, and establishing/tracking goals.
- Coach, motivate, and develop direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities.
- Participate in personnel issues as required.
- Complete surveys, customer visits, product focus meeting, demo's, product comparisons, power studies, and structuring Return on Investment’s (ROI's) for active deals.
- Direct Branch in the service/support of company V-Force motive power programs.
- Deliver training programs that educate the retailer technicians and personnel to provide superior customer satisfaction for the V-Force product line.
- Provide service training for Branch on all product enhancements, updates and what's new/next. (Accomplished by hosting service clinics and making field visits to end users.)
- Ensure all customers enjoy a superior ownership experience with the V-Force products. (Accomplished by making proactive visits to existing users and offering suggestions to improve battery life and associated products performance.)
- Targeted account development identified by other teams. Help collect specific site information and comparison information to support sales initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**KNOW HOW & EXPERIENCE**
- High school diploma. A four-year degree in business, sales, or engineering is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license. 2-4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or customer service
-new equipment sales experience is preferred.
- Technical experience preferred.
- Extensive travel (over 20%).
- Strong sense of urgency.
- Highly self-motivated.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer skills and working knowledge of Excel and Word programs.
- Excellent communication, relationship building, time management and problem-solving skills.
