Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Channel Manager to join our National Strategic Partnerships sales team in Calgary. In this role, you will drive profitable growth by targeting, prioritizing, and expanding sales opportunities within the MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) market segment. You will lead business development efforts, foster relationships with property management companies and building owners, and execute sales strategies to achieve aggressive growth targets.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformational sales team, where you will be empowered to drive strategy, make decisions, and work collaboratively to sign new partnerships while maintaining and enhancing existing relationships.

We are committed to the long-term success and wellbeing of our employees. Our total rewards package is designed to provide compensation and benefits programs that support your health, wellness, and financial security. Including items such as competitive salaries and profit-sharing program; exceptional health, dental, vision plans, life and disability coverages; comprehensive retirement plans, generous vacation and leave, family support benefits, mental health resources, and more. We offer ongoing employee training and development, team building and career growth opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage a sales pipeline by building relationships with large property management organizations and expanding the existing partnership portfolio.
- Identify networking and association opportunities to increase brand awareness and advocacy within the property management industry.
- Implement effective account planning and strategies to achieve sales targets and drive results.
- Support sales team members by providing guidance and advice on smaller accounts.
- Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and business leaders within target accounts.
- Engage with customer stakeholders and internal teams to create and update account plans and action items.
- Represent the company at industry associations and events to increase visibility and foster relationships.
- Prepare professional proposals that clearly communicate our value proposition to key decision-makers in the customer's terminology.
- Initiate post-sales activities to ensure the services provided continue to meet customer needs and deliver value.
- Develop business cases for capital projects and lead revenue discussions with internal and external leadership groups.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in account management, with a combination of “hunting” for new business opportunities and “farming” existing accounts to grow the portfolio.
- Ability to build trusted corporate relationships between our company and customers, characterized by mutual respect for our value proposition.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to deliver compelling messages at the executive level, supported by performance metrics.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, taking initiative and control in critical situations to achieve results.
- Strong ability to identify and articulate financially sound solutions to customer business challenges by understanding technology, products, and services.
- Proven experience in obtaining customer buy-in and financial commitment for our solutions.
- Ability to use competitive information to differentiate our products and services in the market.
- Strong attention to critical goals, accountability, and ability to achieve results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate solutions effectively to stakeholders.
- Proven experience in face-to-face sales, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Experience in the MDU industry (e.g., property management, strata).

Work Conditions:

- Travel within Calgary and surrounding areas will be required to meet with our Multi-Dwelling Unit partners
