People & Culture provides programs and services in support of CUE’s comprehensive institution plan and strategic goals. As part of the People & Culture team, the People & Culture Coordinator supports leader, faculty, staff, and academic colleague inquiries, delivering client-focused and timely response and service.

The People & Culture Coordinator builds relationships to deliver client-focused and value-added advice and service that reflects the mission, vision, and goals of CUE. The People & Culture Coordinator is integral in the day-to-day coordination of activities related to the operations of the People & Culture department.

**Responsibilities**:
- Supporting recruitment and selection process. through:

- Point of contact for ATS, delegating access to ATS
- Conducting pre-screen calls and scheduling interviews.
- Maintaining competition/selection documentation and employee files.
- Completion of reference, academic, criminal record and background checks.
- Coordinates and delivers all new employee orientations and on-boarding. processes by:

- Developing and maintaining tools and information to support new hires and hiring managers, allowing for ease of access to information and supports.
- Delivering new employee orientations in person to all new hires.
- Tracking and receiving signed copies of all new hire documents.
- Assists with contracts in JIRA as needed.
- Provides general administrative support.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of People & Culture practices, processes, and client service
- Participating in People & Culture initiatives and projects in support of the institution plan and strategic goals.
- Participate in organizing, planning, delivering employee events.
- Administering various benefit programs.

**Requirements**:

- An undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources with relevant working experience is required.
- One - two years’ experience in administrative and/ or Human Resource role.
- Post-secondary sector experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with People & Culture Information Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check results
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
- A high degree of customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of human resource best practices and relevant legislations.
- Skilled in written and oral communication, attention to detail, and multi-tasking.
