Raise Workforce has partnered with the leading provider of workforce camp and hospitality services, operations and maintenance services. They are seeking a** Skilled Labourer** that will assist their Maintenance team and perform labouring activities at construction sites such as preparing and cleaning up construction sites, moving materials and equipment and support in seasonal outdoor work.
**Compensation**:
- Full Benefits after 90 days

**What you will be doing...**
- Ensuring the general upkeep of the property in all seasons by providing snow and ice removal, raking and weeding, cleaning sidewalks;
- Safely operating hand-held equipment and tools used in maintaining snow removal, cleaning and light trade directed activities
- Collection and disposal of refuse and debris;
- Cleaning outside windows;
- Cleaning of eaves on all buildings at site;
- Perform manual labour activities such as setup and teardown of work areas for the trades, gathering and moving materials needed for trades day to day activities
- Performing other duties as required.
**Why this is the right job for you**
- Have previous experience in construction/maintenance labour, operating of related equipment will be an asset
- Current and valid OSSA or OSHA approved certificates in Fall Arrest, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform required
- Be self-motivated and be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Working as a current apprentice in either HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing trades would be an asset
- Excellent people skills and a team player
- Able to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Works well under pressure
- You’re able to work away from home for 2 weeks at a time and can work a 12-hr shift, flexible for day or evening when required
- Willingness to complete pre-employment screening include criminal record check (7 years) and 10-panel drug and alcohol screen
