**Dietary Aide**

comfortable home encompasses two resident home areas and a wonderful property on the river in Huntsville
with plenty of outdoor spaces to roam about.
**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Manager of Support Services/Cook, the Dietary Aide will perform some aspects of food
preparation. Provide meal service to residents, family members and staff consistent with the Mission statement
of Fairvern, department policies and procedures, the Nursing Homes Act and other applicable regulations and
guidelines.

**What You Will Do**:

- Assist with the preparation of food items for

serving meals including beverages, salads,
sandwiches, and desserts.
- Assist the Cook with hot food preparation.
- Setting the tables for meal service, tray

assembly for infirmary, and cookware
washing.

**What You Will Need**:

- Food Handlers Certificate preferred
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

required
- Previous experience in institutional food

service preferred
