The Institutional Equities division of TD Securities provides equity sales, trading, research, underwriting and distribution from offices in Canada, the U.S., and the UK.
- The Associate, Event Driven Sales will work with senior members of the Event Driven Sales team on providing timely, in-depth coverage of corporate actions, and on identifying new and unique investment opportunities for our institutional equity clients around the world.

**Job Description**:

- Build and maintain detailed financial models, NAV’s, comp tables and databases
- Source, compile and summarize targeted company
- and industry-specific information
- Read and summarize regulatory filings tied to corporate actions, including circulars, prospectuses, relevant securities acts, etc
- Draft research reports, presentations, and marketing packages, for internal and external distribution
- Assist with special ad-hoc projects, presentations and initiatives as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Must have at least one year of experience in portfolio management, equity research, investment banking or private equity
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to source information and summarize key findings
- Excellent financial modeling, quantitative and financial analysis skills
- Strong work ethic, ability to take initiative and balance multiple tasks
- Superior business writing skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team under strict deadlines
- Service orientation and professional attitude - presentable to both internal and external clients

**Educational Assets**
- Undergraduate degree with a focus on business, accounting, finance, or mathematics
- Enrolment in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
