A day in the role of a Laundry Associate at Lifetimes on Riverside.

As a Laundry Associate at Lifetimes on Riverside, you will be given high expectations, as well as an expectation to continue personal growth and professional growth. In this position, you will be gifted with a rewarding experience every day in the form of being able to see the exact impact you place on our residents.

As a Laundry Associate, you will report directly to the Environmental Service Manager. The Laundry Associate is responsible for laundering services of the residents’ personal laundry and the community’s general laundry according to the policies of the community and aligned with but not limited to, the Retirement Homes Act.

This position is responsible for but not limited to:
- Performs various tasks that may relate to laundry services as per the job routines. This includes but is not limited to laundry sorting, washing, drying, stain removal, labelling, and delivery to suite,-
- This may include housekeeping services,-
- Reports any safety or risk concerns immediately to the manager or in-charge associate,-
- Completes mandatory training as scheduled,-
- Maintains safe Infection Control and Health and Safety Practices,-
- Maintains effective communication with Residents, families and fellow associates,-
- Promotes the Vision, Mission and Values of Lifetimes Living Inc. as well as the Residents’ Bill of Rights,- Other duties as assigned.

- PSW Certification-
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,-
- Current CPR & First Aid Certificate preferred,-
- Knowledge and understanding of the Retirement Homes Act and other applicable legislation,-
- Familiar with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act,-
- Must have a clear vulnerable sector screen, no older than 6 months, TB test results less than 6 months old, must be able to provide three supervisory references.How to apply?
