Photographer (Aurora)

**Job Overview**:
In-office role, providing digital assets for our brands/products to support a range of both foodservice and retail marketing projects as a shared resource for both divisions. Work with marketing teams to enhance our image library for customers, creating a robust resource of assets that showcase our products and brands.

Also responsible for attending all local corporate events at head office and other locations to take pictures/videos for corporate marketing purposes including set up. This includes employee events (lunches, townhalls, get togethers, ribbon cutting for Aurora), head office and customer events.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for all product photography of own brand and products
- Responsible for all photography/videos supporting corporate marketing for Company events (Direction could come from any Sr. Leader)
- Retouch, colour correct and crop photos for marketing use both print and digital
- Work with marketing teams to shoot/retouch lifestyle and in-use product shots for print/digital media
- Work with marketing teams to identify photography projects and action necessary images
- Must learn and understand brand guidelines and styles and ensure image meet these guidelines
- Be a resource and provide information on image trends in our market
- Be a source of knowledge for lighting and equipment needs for photography
- Work with marketing teams to shoot and edit product and brand videos and animated GIFS
- Work with Human Resources to capture various corporate events
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Degree or certificate in Photography
- Several years of experience to understand business audiences and objectives
- Must have an online portfolio with products both on white and lifestyle
- Must be experienced in lighting, shooting and correcting product shots on white
- Must be experienced in lighting, shooting and correction lifestyle and in-use product shot
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for retouching and Adobe creative suite
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with good prioritization and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and accountable
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Open to feedback, new ideas and the ability to work cohesively with a team
- Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, walk, stand, and sit for long periods with some lifting and carrying of equipment
- Preferred: passion for food and kitchenware considered an asset
