Sales and Marketing Representative

We are a food manufacturer and distributer, produce various types of delicious food, and are searching for a Sales and Marketing Representative to become part of our Mississauga team.

**1. Sales Activities**

1) Sales Territory is mainly, but not limited to Quebec and east coast provinces in Canada.

2) Follow up / increase sales on existing customers (make monthly activity plan, communicate with customer regularly, order taking, arrange inventory, provide customer support, follow up, analyze sales history)
- Customer care (when problem arise, be sure to solve the issue as soon as possible)
- Prepare Sales tools, quotations, POS, and samples, etc
- Business trips to your sales territories

3) Find new customers
- such as mainstream, factories, catering companies, chain restaurants, group purchasing companies

4) Evaluate customer’s financial situation / follow up on payment situations
- Make sure that accounts are up to date and paid on time. Work together with our accounting team.

5) Report to Branch Manager / share market information among sales and purchasing team

6) SAGE tasks (Order entry, Invoicing, Credit, Rebate etc.)

7) Attend Monthly Sales / Purchase Meeting

8) Review & compare actual sales amount and quantity with area core target

**2.Marketing Activities**

1) Expand your sales territory
- market research
- make cold calls
- attend food shows and seminars

2) Visit end users (restaurants, retail markets, hospitality businesses, factories)
- Make new connections
- Connect with distributors (our customers)

3) Request new item ideas to Sales & Marketing team

4) Analyze competitors’ products

**3. Few office activities**

1) Organize office storage / sales cabinets

2) Regularly maintain data (price list update, customer files update)

3) Responsible for GFS portal & Rebate to some of GFS customers

4) Responsible for GS1 related matters

6) Report any food safety issues to department supervisor or manager and QC department

7) Report any injuries to department supervisor or manager and first aid attendant

8) Maintain company-provided devices

**4. Support of Company Projects / Receiving**

Occasionally, the following tasks will be requested:
1) Dry-ice pick-up for azumatei project & sample shipment

2) Sample drop-off

3) Photo shooting

5) company Instagram contents making

**PRE-REQUISITES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL REQUIREMENTS**
- Legally able to work in Canada
- BS/BA degree or studied in the equivalent field
- Basic MS office skill
- Business level in English
- Having knowledge of Japanese foods is a plus

**LICENSE, CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Driver’s license

**Regular work hours**: Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
