**Rate of Pay: $23.66 - $27.83**
**per hour**

The position is responsible for ordering and receiving supplies from various pharmaceutical vendors; for performing related inventory control practices (i.e. preparing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, preparing receiving reports, counting and managing physical inventory); and for performing clerical and reception services including maintaining workload measurement statistics, recording minutes of meetings, and greeting customers.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Diploma in a related clerical health administration course
- Previous experience working in pharmacy purchasing, and/or inventory control, preferably in a hospital setting is required

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and customers
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to identify, understand, and meet the requirements of internal and external customers
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent computer skills, demonstrating speed and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Assets**:

- Pharmacy Technician diploma and/or pharmacy technician/assistant work experience
- Experience within a healthcare environment with Meditech
