**ABOUT OUR OPERATION**

The Center for Support and Development is located in Rouyn-Noranda (Cadillac sector), in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. We provide services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and / or international mining operations in a variety of areas, including administration, financial services, IT, purchasing and logistics, human resources, communications and technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, PMO, infrastructure and environment).

The Technical Services Department develops concepts related to new projects through technical studies, it shares knowledge and lessons learned (risks and opportunities) throughout the Company, and it provides high-level technical support to continuously improve quality.

**YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE**:
Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, you will be part of the Construction Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Lead, with the assistance of the Engineering team, the different consultants working on the development of the Engineering of the project;
- Lead the process of changes during engineering and fabrication phases;
- Support the process change during the installation phases by supporting residents engineer at site;
- Support, with the AEM management, the construction activities sequence, contractor’s follow-up, track changes to the contracts and collaborate with the other project departments to control the different activities;
- Lead, with the AEM management, the technical problem solving for each phase of the project;
- Lead the information’s transfer develop during the engineering phase to the construction site with the resident engineer direct report working at site;
- Support the management team in the transition between the various project phases (Engineering to Construction and Construction to Operation);
- Lead project scope criteria, budget, and schedule;
- Develop the list of deliverables of the Engineering firm mandate;
- Lead the deliverables development that address the project scope of work.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
- 5 years + of experience;

**Your Work Schedule**:

- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda or Mirabel, QC. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
