Brantford, Canada BRIMICH Logistics and Packaging Inc Full time

The HR Co-op student will assist as a point of contact for a variety of employee day-to-day questions with regards to HR. The HR Co-op student will be responsible for supporting many facets of human resources including recruitment/selection, training, HRMS maintenance and performance management administration.

**Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Prepare New Hire Orientation packages for employees
- Assist with the ongoing input and uploading of information and maintenance of the HRIS, employee files and HR filing system
- Upload New Hire documents, performance reviews, policy sign-offs, transfer & promotion letters, and corrective actions
- Ensure employees are informed by updating documents and using various communication channels.
- Help to coordinate employee engagement initiatives.
- Track the completion and expiration of pertinent certificates and lisences
- All other HR related duties as assigned by management

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Must possess effective oral and written communications skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment and independently
- Knowledge of Health and Safety standards
- Excellent organizational skills and be self-motivated
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Great attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- Ability to deal with confidential information and interact with all levels of the business

**Education & Training Requirements**
- In the process of completing a Bachelors degree or college diploma in HR related field

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
