**Compensation & Benefits Information**
- Rate of pay ranges from: $36.14 to $38.16, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement
- Percent in lieu and vacation percent pay up to 18%, as per the SEIU-Service Collective Agreement

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager, Laboratory, the incumbent is responsible for the safe administration of medication at Blanche River Health.

**Requirements**:

- Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing as a Registered Practical Nurse or must be registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists in good standing as a Pharmacy Technician
- Five (5) years of clinical nursing or clinical pharmacy experience will be required
- Previous experience in medication safety
- Strong knowledge of medications, pharmacy operations, and clinical pharmacy activities within a Hospital environment
- Thorough understanding of external resources such as the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI), the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada (ISMP), College of Nurses of Ontario Medical Standards, Accreditation Canada standards, and the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration when interacting with patients, family members, and other members of the health care team
