**Manager, Child Intervention (CI)**

**Manager, Child Intervention (CI) - Supporting Metis Settlements**

The Manager of Métis Settlements is responsible for delivering culturally appropriate, high-quality services to Métis families and communities. This role ensures the implementation of tailored programs that align with Métis traditions and values while adhering to provincial and federal legislation. Key responsibilities include overseeing service delivery, fostering community collaboration, promoting anti-oppressive practices, and integrating Métis knowledge with modern care standards. The manager will also work closely with Métis leaders and partners to create holistic support systems, empowering Métis families and strengthening community resilience.

**Manager, Indigenous Practice Supports**

**Other Key Responsibilities**:
In addition, other key responsibilities of the manager role are:

- Provide leadership, guidance and support, to a team of of front-line staff.
- Ensure services delivered are aligned with the key strategies and business goals of the region.
- Reflect and uphold the vision of the region, department and ministry, and comply with appropriate legislation, regulations and provincial standards, regional policies, and fiscal targets.
- Champion the implementation of programs and new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the ministry and the region.
- Support the shift in mindset from child protection to healthy families by developing positive communities, promoting collaborative partnership to achieve better outcomes for children, youth, and families.
- Utilizing your experience of working with diverse communities and populations to be confident in employing a variety of different diversity and inclusion strategies to initiate, support and evaluate working relationships. Demonstrate anti-oppressive practices in your work with urban and rural Indigenous communities and will have the ability to combine Indigenous ways of knowing with standard western approaches to working with peoplePlease
